Naming issues…
Published by wynn on September 15, 2008How sad is this?
So. Apparently the first three kids weren’t that difficult to name. Number 4 however, Hmmmm…
Here are the rules:
- Letters to include: A, Y.
- If the name has a K or a CK sound, it may be spelled with a K. like Erik, Zakery… etc.
- Preferably different initials from the rest of the family, resulting that the first letters of E, H, M, W, and Z are out.
- Any names from All My Children are a bonus… (Jackson, Maddy, Zach) If you submit a name from a TV Show or a series, please indicate what it is…
- Doctor is 90% sure it’s a boy. Then we got the ultrasound proof. Husband was proud…
Names that have been vetoed include: Jayce, Gavyn, Carwyn, Jayder, Rylan, Jayme, Carsyn, Marley, Dalaney, Rayner, Daryus, and Waylon. Sorry to those that submitted these, but we already know a Jacie (girl), Dalaney sounds like someone we don’t want to remember, Marley and Waylon are both famous singers and should stay that way… Jayder Mater Tater….
Kids did suggest Diego (you know, Dora’s cousin), but that was vetoed for the reason that we do not have the heritage to back it up. Speaking of heritage, Asian names are out as well. English/American names preferred.
Names with some possibility include: Ryan or Nycholas. Nykolas? Nicholas. (ARGH) But I still have to convince Husband of these.. Apparently “Ryan” sounds like a girl…
It’s going to come down to the old saying that once we see the baby, then we can name him, but suggestions help none the less…
A middle name is already picked out, but it depends on how it fits with the first….
Please comment below. once again, if inspired by a TV or book series, please notate this.
